Setting Up HDE Email Archive (G Suite)

This article consists of the instructions on how to correctly setup HDE Email Archive so that it is fully functional within your G Suite domain environment. After completing this setup, you will be able to start using the features of HDE Email Archive.

For the set values, please see your Connection Settings document that we have provided.

This setup consists of four parts:

1) Creating New Host

2) Receiving Routing Settings

3) Sending Routing Settings

 

1) Creating New Host

Step 1 - In the "Advanced settings" interface, switch from "General Settings" to "Hosts" tab. In the "Hosts" interface, click on "ADD ROUTE".

Step 2 Please name this mail route as "HDE One Archive 1". For the email server, select "Single Host" as the server type and enter "in.az.hdemail.jp" and input "25" for the allowed port. Check the options "Perform MX lookup on host" and "Require secure transport (TLS)". Click "Save" to finish this step.

Step 3 Please name this mail route as "HDE One Archive 2". For the email server, select "Single Host" as the server type and enter "mfq.az.hdemail.jp" and input "25" for the allowed port. Check the options "Perform MX lookup on host" and "Require secure transport (TLS)". Click "Save" to finish this step.

Step 4 Please name this mail route as "HDE One Archive 3". For the email server, select "Single Host" as the server type and enter "out.az.hdemail.jp" and input "25" for the allowed port. Check the options "Perform MX lookup on host" and "Require secure transport (TLS)". Click "Save" to finish this step.

2) Receiving Routing Settings

(Please note that you should refer to following article if you want to specific member or group to use Email Archive: How do I set up G Suite in order to allow only specific member/group to use Email Archive?And then, proceed to Step 1)

Step 1 - In the "Advanced settings", switch to "General Settings" tab. Scroll down to "Routing" section and click "CONFIGURE" for "Receiving routing".

Step 2 - Please name this new sending routing as "HDE One Email Archive Receiving Routing" and check "Inbound" option. 

Step 3 - Scroll down to "Also deliver to", check the "Add more recipients option" and click "ADD" to add recipients.

Step 4 - First select "Advanced", check the "Change route" option and select "HDE One Archive 1" as the route.

Step 5 - Ensure that both the "Do not deliver spam to this recipient" and "Suppress bounces from this recipient" options are checked". After that, click "Save".

Step 6 - After saving, you can now see one recipient is added. Please click "ADD" to add another recipient.

Step 7 - First select "Advanced", check the "Change route" option and select "HDE One Archive 2" as the route. 

Step 8 - Ensure that both the "Do not deliver spam to this recipient" and "Suppress bounces from this recipient" options are checked". After that, click "Save".

Step 9 - After ensuring that both recipients "HDE One Archive 1" and "HDE One Archive 2" are added, click on "ADD SETTING". 

Step 10 - After the Receiving routing is added, click "Save" as shown below to complete the settings.

 

3) Sending Routing Settings

Step 1 - In the "Advanced settings", switch to "General Settings" tab. Scroll down to "Routing" section and click "CONFIGURE" for "Sending routing".

Step 2 - Please name this new sending routing as "HDE One Email Archive Sending Routing" and check both the "Outbound" and "Internal - sending". 

Step 3 - Scroll down to "Also deliver to", check the "Add more recipients option" and click "ADD" to add recipients.

Step 4 - First select "Advanced", check the "Change route" option and select "HDE One Archive 3" as the route.

 

Step 5 - Ensure that both the "Do not deliver spam to this recipient" and "Suppress bounces from this recipient" options are checked". After that, click "Save".

Step 6 - After saving, you can now see one recipient is added. Please click "ADD" to add another recipient.

Step 7 - First select "Advanced", check the "Change route" option and select "HDE One Archive 2" as the route. 

Step 8 - Ensure that both the "Do not deliver spam to this recipient" and "Suppress bounces from this recipient" options are checked". After that, click "Save".

Step 9 - After ensuring that both recipients "HDE One Archive 2" and "HDE One Archive 3" are added, click on "ADD SETTING". 

Step 10 - After the Sending routing is added, click "Save" as shown below to complete the entire setup.
